Blog #2 Interview/Night

A few weeks ago on a Wednesday we watched a movie that was about the Holocaust. It was an interview between Oprah and Elie Wiesel. He talked about what it was like when he was in the concentration camps. And how he got seperated by his family. His mom and sister were immeditely taken from him and his dad they were killed when they got seperated. What he lived while he was there was really horrible. They barely got any food and they worked alot they treated them really bad to. It's a miracle that he actually survived and till this day he told us what it was like while he was there. Other bad things that they did there was that they took all the belongings that the Jewish people had they also burned little kids alive and women you could smell flesh burning. The awful things that they did to them was what struck me the most. Also before we had done  a pre-test on the Holocaust and I really didn't know anything. Now I know a little more information about the Holocaust. When we read the novel Night I was in shock with all the things that they had to go through and at times I was sad when we were reading the novel.
