1. Basically what I think that this quote is saying that you can only find things out at night I guess since the circus that they perform in only open at night and they really aren't out in the world in the daytime. I think also that the dream in the book Night Circus Is Celia and Marco. And there punishment is maybe that they are sort of feeling things for each other.
2. Yes, in this book it changes the point of view from Celia and Marco and then to the other person who actually goes to the circus to see what's there. At times it get's me really confused and at other times I think it's cool to hear the story from different points of view. And I think that the author changes the point of view so we can see which character we likes the most.
3. I actually havn't got this far in the book so I can't answer the question.

4th Quarter Post #5
The book that I would like to read would be Chain Reaction. The reason I would like to read this book is because I have allready read the other books to the series. And really enjoyed them they were really fun and entertaining. They also have words in spanish and since I'm Mexican I can of course read it. I wonder if the main character is going to be like just his brother. The second book that I would chose if I wasn't able to lay my hands on it I would pick Before I Die. It also seem like a really interesting book that I would also enjoy reading.

If the ending wouldn't have been like the way it would have been. And if he wouldn't have been accused guilty. Tom probably wouldn't have killed himself. If he would have been found not guilty he probably would have been really happy and really grateful of Atticus. He would have of continued his life and make everything from that point on better and not make that mistake of going into Mr. Ewell's house. The town on the other hand would have been really mad because they let him free. And they didn't charge him anything and just let a black man go. Also if he would have been shot in the courtroom. The people that live in the town wouldn't have cared and just let it fly by since he colored.
4th Quarter Post #3
In the book To Kill a Mockingbird there was a trial that was happening. Some questions that I would have like Atticus to ask were:
1.Mr. Heck Tate: Why didn't you want you a doctor to go?
2. Was there any other evidence that you have.
3. Mayella Ewell: Has your father always been nice and kind to you?
4. How much alcohol does you father consume every night?
5. Mr Ewell: Would you ever have the nerve to hit you daughter?
6. Mr. Tate: Considering all the alcohol Mr. Ewell consumes do you think he would ever hit or hurt his daughter?
7. Did it ever cross your mind that he was lying about everything that he said happened?
8.Mr. Ewell: Have you ever laid a hand on any of your other children?
9. Mr.Tate: Didn't it ever cross your mind why no one heard Mayella screaming?
10. Mr. Ewell: Are you sure that Tom was the one who did all that to Mayella?

In class we are reading a book that is named To Kill a Mockingbird. In this book the are alot of people that have lots of courage. The one that has the most courage though from my point of view is Jem and Scouts father Atticus. I believe this because he is a really good father even though sometimes it really doesn't seem like it. Another reason I think he hasbcourage is because he is defending the Radleys. Another reason is because he is defending Tom Robinson who is a black folk in down. He is the only lawyer who is taking his case. And by the way black people don't have the same respect like white folks do in the town that they live in. Everybody in town thinks that black people do all the crimes. So they all think that Tom is guilty. Atticus though thinks that he is not guilty and will keep defending him. For me a courageous person is my mother becuase she doesn't let no one boss her around. She stands up for what she believes in and other people that do the same as her well I think as well that they are really courageous to.

What was the Great Depression? Believe it or not some people don't know what the Great Depression is. The Great Depression was an economic slump that happened in Europe, North America and other parts of the world. It began in the year 1929 and lasted till the year 1939. It was the worst and longest depression that the industrialized Western world got. It all started in the United States but then quickly spread to the European economies after World War I.

What was the Dust Bowl? The Dust Bowl basically was that for eight years dust blew on the southern plains. It was yellowish brown haze that scattered from the South and the rolling walls of blacks from the North. Everyday life was hard as you can imagine eating a meal, breathing, taking a walk were no longer that simple to do like we can now a days. It was so bad that children had to wear dusk mask to and coming back from school. In order to try to make better living conditions the women hung wet sheets over the windows to try to stop the dirt. For the farmers it was also bad because they basically saw the crops blow away there was nothing that they could do about it. The Southern Plains were really affected with this event that lasted about a decade the Northern Plains didn't have that much damage.

Third Quarter #6 Elizabethan era
http://fashionhistory.zeesonlinespace.net/elizabethan.html
In the Elizabethan Era the fashion was really important. Women would be wearing lots of clothing and they actually had a hard time putting on all the clothing so someone had to help them put on the clothing. Even if you were a man just like the women they would be wearing wigs to. Believe it or not man put on makeup just like women. But during this time period it wasn't strange for them. Also all the clothing that they had long ago was made with real fabric and jewls all the clothes was probably expensive.

Really? Wow I didn't know any of the information. It probably was umcomfortable wearing that type of clothing.

Third Quarter #3 Raisin in the Sun
Maybe a month ago and some weeks as a assigment for English class we read the book "A Raisin in the Sun's, " by Lorraine Hansberry. Basically the book is about a colored family that live in the southside of Chicago, IL. In the book itself it talks about how the family is srtuggling with money. And once they receieve a check they decide or a certain family member decides to go buy a house because the house that they are currently living in is to small and in really bad shape. The only bad thing though is that Mama decides to buy the new house in a white neighborhood. And in this time periods colored people and white people still don't get along that well. In a way my family and I sort of have it similar to we once moved and also bought this house. Once we got there though we noticed that there was only white people there. At first we could totally tell that they didn't like that us Mexicans moved into there. After a few weeks though they noticed that we weren't bad people and they started to accept us that's the difference from us and the book. They probably had a bad image of us Mexicans so that's how it's similar.

I agree with you about relating to the story I feel the same way you do. It always hasn't been easy at home sometimes it was hard knowing if the food in the fridge was going to last the whole week. We aren't rich like other people we have a low income to. And about the whole situation with your mother spending money on somethings that you really don't need well that's the same thing with my father. Overall we have the same feelings and ideas.

Third Quarter #3 American Dream
If my American Dream actually came true everything would be completely different. Life it self would be much easier and worry free. One thing is that I would live in a way complete different neighborhood. The neighbors that I would have actually would be my family. And when I mean my family I mean as in all the relatives that I have in Mexico that I have never ever met since I was born. Basically my American Dream is that they gave the Mexicans a chance to come over her to the United States and have a better life. Yes, it's great over there in Mexico to but over here in the United States you actually have way more opportunities to have a better life. And one good thing that you will be leaving behind in Mexico is all the danger that is currently happening like all the killing and the drug cartels. They should give some of the Mexicans chances to come over here yes not all of them because some aren't that nice but all places in the world have bad people. If my American Dream actually were to come true I would pretty much have a good life. I would visit all of my family members everyday one day go to one's relative house and the next day someone elses. Maybe in the future I could actually have a good career and become a doctor and have a good salary. And help out my relatives if they ever needed help. It would be amazing if my American Dream actually came true.
